When I take a look at your site in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening in I.E., it’s
got some overlapping issues. I just wanted to provide
you with a quick heads up! Apart from that, wonderful site!

If, however, a tractor is sometimes needed (though plowing is harmful to the life of the soil), it could be run on biodiesel, which waste oil from the school cafeteria could no doubt provide more that enough of.

Many high school seniors are currently in the middle of deciding where to apply to college. My friends and I saw the story about Bill and Lou and are very disappointed. I can let you know that Green Mountain College no longer seems to uphold the principles that I am looking for in a college. I hope after receiving the outpouring of opposition to the slaughter, that Green Mountain College will rethink its position about slaughtering Bill and Lou and instead send them to the sanctuary.

You cannot defend the purposeful killing of a sentient being. The ends do not justify the means – just because Bill & Lou are made up of a product typically consumed by humans – a product that as Mr. Coburn suggests negatively affects the environment (not to mention human health) so therefore slaughtering them so their bodies can be eaten just to avoid eating factory farmed animals is the best alternative to Bill & Lou’s inevitable demise – is almost laughable if it wasn’t so alarming.

I wish to congratulate Katerina Makris Lorenzatos for her beautifully phrased questions and intelligent arguments she put forth to Mr. Coburn.

These two animals are likely to be a far cry in satisfying the tastes of meat eaters that have grown up eating cattle that are less than two years old when killed.

How moral is it to consume a friend? How ethical is it to claim to be about sustainability while slaughtering animals that have been exploited as a research project? My personal opinion is that this college and the people in charge of it are nothing more than hypocritical in their basis for murdering these 2 beautiful creatures. Where are there ethics? Where are their morals? Too bad they don’t have more of a diverse outlook on sustainable agriculture…that being a plant based farming practice.
Great write up, Katerina!

How sad, they will KNOW their destiny and fear, they will sense it and smell it.. …and… After all, with the obesity in this country and animal product related diseases, most humans could use to go without a meal or two once in a while and/or eat less meat.

They’ve earned a peaceful retirement. Please.
